Opening times

Summer season: daily 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Winter season: daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Summer season is from 1st March until 31st October. Winter season is from 1st November until 28th February.

Burgers' Zoo is open every day, including all holidays!

For the care, safety and rest of the animals the following areas close earlier:

Birdhouse closes at 5 p.m.
Burgers' Mangrove closes at 5 p.m.
From 1st March until 31st October the animals in outdoor enclosures are outside from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
From 1st November until 28th February the animals in outdoor enclosures are outside from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In bad weather the chimpanzees and gorillas can be found in their indoor quarters. The entrance to these quarters is to the right of the footbridge after the chimpanzee's observation post. The animals' winter-quarters can be found by turning left immediately after entering the Birdhouse.

Depending on weather conditions, sickness, etc. the times given above may be subject to change.
