The Green Key

Since 2004 Burgers' Zoo has been the proud owner of The Green Key in the golden gradation.

The Green Key is a recognised European certification for organisations, who have implemented an environmentally-friendly and energy-saving policy. The baseline criteria of The Green Key are that the participating organisation "contributes to a sustainable environment for man and animal with all of their heart", as it is also verbalised in the environmental policy. Burgers' Zoo would like to do more about environmental protection than just the required basics, which in and of itself is more than the law requires. read more »
