Burgers’ Zoo has several restaurants, right now it is only possible to pick up food and drinks at the counter. Visitors are required to wear a mask in our restaurants. We work with fresh products at all locations and prepare the meals in your presence. The Bush Restaurant and the newly renovated Park Restaurant are open daily. When the weather permits, our Safari terrace and Park terrace are also open for the public. All restaurants have free WiFi.
Visitors of Burgers’ Zoo can enjoy an artisanal and fair product in an attractive environment. Think of fresh hamburgers, hot dogs from free-range pork and organic coffee. Alternatively, choose a fresh and crunchy salad, a bowl of fresh fruit, one of our fresh fruit smoothies or from a varied assortment of sandwiches. Quality and sustainability are of paramount importance to us. For example, we use free-range meat from the Beemsterlan pig for the curry sausage and hot dogs. The hamburger meat is 100% organic. We also serve organic, Fairtrade coffee from Peeze, which by default donates part of its turnover to development projects for poor coffee farmers.
The Park restaurant is a contemporary and cosy family restaurant situated between two adjacent playgrounds, whose atmosphere is subtly incorporated in the restaurant. While the children are having fun in the playgrounds, the adults can relax and enjoy a drink and/or a bite to eat. The restaurant has three seating levels, allowing plenty of space and comfort for everyone.

From April through October, the Park Restaurant is open daily between 9:00 and 18:00. From November through March, the Park Restaurant is open between 09:00 and 17:00. The Bush restaurant has the same opening times as the Park Restaurant.
All Burgers’ Zoo fixed-contract catering employees, waiters, waitresses and assistant managers follow an online course on hygiene and food safety regulations, including allergens. An examination follows the course. The certification remains valid for one year after which an annual test must be taken to stay certified.
Our catering employees inform our guests verbally about allergens. There is no need for the allergen card. The employee course was developed in collaboration with the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA), and an independent, external organisation conducts the examinations.
Bread is processed in all our kitchens, which makes it impossible for us to guarantee gluten-free. We use low gluten as the standard. The following dishes can be made low gluten:
