In May, students of the HAS University of Applied Sciences Den Bosch researched ants in the Bush, Desert and Mangrove. They looked at what species can be found there and what their ecological role is within the ecosystems.

Spotting in the Mangrove

In addition to the fledged blue ground dove, you also have a chance of spotting the Allison's anole in the Mangrove. Several new animals of this species have been released there. The basic colour of the birds is bright green, and the male also has a bright blue head.
